General Conditions and information:

1. The applicant must be a citizen of India
2. All applicants must fulfill the essential requirements of the post and other conditions stipulated in the advertisement they are advised to satisfy themselves by applying that they possess at least the essential qualifications laid down for the posts as on the last date of online applications no inquiry asking for advice as to eligibility will be entertained
3. Merely fulfilling the minimum prescribed qualification and experience will not vest a right in a candidate for being called for written test and proficiency/skill test or appointment if on verification either before or after at any of the stages of selection process it is found that any candidate does not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions his/her candidature will be summarily canceled forthwith
4. Applicants working in Government departments shall be required t produce a No objection certificate from their employer at the time of document verification failing which their candidature will NOT be considered the date of such documents verification will be intimated in due course however such candidates will have to give an undertaking at the appropriate place in the online application that they have intimated their employer about their application against the advertisement
5. In respect of the equivalent clause in essential qualifications if a candidate I claiming a particulars qualification as equivalent qualification as per the request of advertisement then the candidate is required to produce an order/letter in this regard indicating the authority (with number and date
   ) under which it has been so treated otherwise the application is liable to be rejected
6. If any document /certificate furnished is in a language other than Hindi or English a transcript to convert the same duly attested is to be submitted
7. In case of university /institutes awarding CGPA/SGPA/OGPA grades etc., candidates are requested to convert the same into a percentage based on the formal as per their university/institute
8. Persons with benchmarks disabilities (PWD) fulfilling the eligibility conditions prescribed under GOIO instructions are encouraged to apply
9. Any discrepancy found between the information given in the application and as evident in the original documents will make the candidate eligible for the post
10. The number of vacancies indicated against each vacancy code is provisional. and may vary either way at the time of selection
11. In the completed application and lack of required certificates/documents are liable to be rejected
12. The period of experience in a discipline /area of work wherever prescribed shall be counted after the date of acquiring the minimum prescribed educational qualification prescribed for that grade /post 
13. 16. The decision of the CSIR – IICB /CSIR in all matters relating to eligibility acceptance o rejection of applications mode of selection and conduct of examination will be final and binding on the candidates 

How to apply:

1. Applicants working in Government departments shall be required to upload a No objection certificate from their employers while applying failing which their candidature will NOT be considered CSIR – IICB will not accept any person online or deputation basis
2. No other use of the application will be accepted
3. The candidates have to remit the application fee of Rs. 100/- through NET banking /Debit card/credit card etc
4. Scheduled caste/scheduled tribe/persons with benchmark disbelief / Women /CSIR employees are exempted from submission of application fee
